Google, which has offered online 3D street-view services, expanded their business to a ‘desert’ in 2014. Unlike real-time navigation, photos of desert come from specific points in the past. The screen surveys the images of static landscape through the constant speed of a moving-image. From a specific point of view, the eye of the camera looks around as the center becomes an unrecognizable empty space. This cut-off and delayed condition stems from the quality of the Internet connection.
